Never-been-done digital outdoor advertising builds real-world community and serious buzz.


Yahoo! needed help reclaiming their place as the original social network. The challenge:  how to bring people together offline in a way previously only available online?


Yahoo! Bus Stop Derby transformed formerly analog bus stops into social gaming hubs. Commuters played a variety of touch-screen games in real-time against other bus stops in San Francisco.

The campaign pushed the limits of existing Out-of-Home executions. It was the first time Clear Channel or any media company outfitted city bus stops with touch screens, opening the door to a new era in digital outdoor advertising.


After pitting neighborhood against neighborhood in a heated real-time battle, the grand prize winner, North Beach, was rewarded with a huge block party featuring the band, OK Go.
